Put my money where my mouth is.
Yesterday I started the process of getting a couple of dental implants. Over five thousand dollars total, and that is after insurance paid their part. My jaw is a little swollen, very sore, and I have truly put a lot of money where my mouth is. I also am on muscle relaxers at night now to stop me from grinding my teeth in my sleep. That is what broke off the teeth that had to be removed.

Today's dental technology is amazing but it doesn't come cheap; that's for sure...!

It is sure strange when you feel the drilling going on in your skull, and then hear the squeaking as the implant portion is screwed into the bone.

Heal well friend. My wife got one of those $300 mouth guards from the dentist about three years ago and it about changed our lives. She is so much more rested every day. It is very noticeable when she forgets to wear it. She got it because of the grinding but the sleep aspect of it was an immediate and very nice aspect.
Kind regards,
Tycer

It sounds like you are a night bruxer. A mouth guard would probably help.

Night mouth guards do work for the 3 or 4 days it takes me to chew through them. Muscle relaxers are much better for me.
