I'm glad they had a good time and a successful hunt.
I wasn't there so who am I to judge, BUT I don't think I would shoot at an animal that is silhouetted. I don't doubt the temtpation is huge but how can you be certain of your backstop? I know "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything" but I don't think it's wrong to speak up for safety.

I think the nearest people in danger of catching a stray bullet - where they were above the Arctic Circle near the mouth of St James Bay - would be either the Russians, or maybe some Polar explorers.
They were hunting with a remote, fly-in outfitter, who only allows a small percentage of his thirty-some camps to be in use during any week.
