Prayers for Texas

Post by jkbrea »

I'm sorry if this was already posted.
Prayers up for those in northern Texas.
Tornados scare the heck out of me . Never been in one. Just a bunch of earthquakes here but those are over before you know what happened. A tornado you see coming and not much you can do but pray and take shelter.

Been in about seven earthquakes.

Had a tornado literally do a orbit 1 block around my apartment and not hit anything.

Went on foot through the tail end of an F2 tornado (on duty, was working for NBC).

Only good thing about earthquakes is they come and go quick and you don't know when.

Tornados are highly random.....

Thanks for the kind thoughts.
The tornados were mostly west and south of DFW and a couple of areas were hit hard. Where we live, only an inch of rain fell and there were no high winds. Rain likely again tonight.

Mother Nature can be a rough old "Mutha" at times.... :( Statistically, I'm prolly safer with live volcanos, and earthquakes here in Washington than I was all those years in the MidWest.....

NWS is now reporting 16 tornados in all last night in that area of Texas. Prayers said for all the folks that were hit.

Prayers up for those most affected. Wife said the power "flickered" a few times, but never truly went out. Me, I was in Ohio.
