Marlin back with .32 H&R - FALSE alarm Darn!

Post by gak »

Interesting
http://www.marlinfirearms.com/Firearms/ ... Magnum.asp

EDIT - false alarm - call to Marlin de-confirms - no such animal, and all other cal 1894s suspended til 2014. The person I talked with said they wish they'd re-intro the .32 as they get a lot of calls on. This was not a techie so I did not get into the .327 argument.

It's not a valid link. It's been a discontinued model, for years, and Remington ain't bringing it back into production. Their web master just hasn't completely removed the link.

Try to find it, on the web site. http://marlinfirearms.com/default.asp

Nice return. I'd like to see that same rifle in 22 Win Mag as well.

I still with they'd make some more 32 caliber 1894's, whatever cartridge they want.

I was afraid it was too good to be true.

When, and if they do. They need to airbrush a loading gate on it. Just don't look right without one.
30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres

 True - at first glance you'd think it was a rimfire levergun.

Just for those who haven't seen 'em. . .

Too bad. I would love a Model 92 in .327 Federal Magnum that would still fire the H&R rounds. I can always wish, and I know that the Marlin is not a model 92. A Marlin or Henry in that caliber would be great, too.
