Hey Steve, good luck with the kerneloscopy,...as you probably know already, the prep's by far the worst part of it!
I didn't know the regular (steel) Ubertis were in short supply these days. I sure enjoy my .44 Sp Cimarron Model P - also 5.5." I haven't been in my favorite local wester toy store in quite awhile, trying to be a good boy, but fairly recently was in the Bass store here there was a sweet one (.45 too I think)--El Patron or some such with the polished checkered walnut grips, had it been a .44 woulda been mighty tempting! (Uberti-label doesn't make a .44 'cept the .44 magnum Callahan). I was quite impressed with the current fit and finish of these.

I had the scope treatment (for the fourth time) a month or so back. Not a big deal at all. The prep they are using now is a lot more user friendly than that crud they used to make you drink.
Good luck.
Good luck.

colonoscopy is code for alien abduction...this is the whole premise behind obamacare, easier access to our DNA in order to create the future generation of alien/human hybrids...COSteve, you deserve that .45 revolver for the suffering you're experiencing... :)
