Post by mmoses »

What do y'all think its worth?

It has never been restored. No rust. Wood is in good finish.

SN 286694. Octagon barrel. 30 WCF.

Ill post pictures in a few minutes

According to this it would be a 1903?

Welcome to the forum. I sold a beater SR Carbine with no finish this weekend for $700 and Mine was the cheapest in the show. Then again it is worth what Someone will pay for it. I tried the link and got nuthin.

Just as "location" is all important in real estate, so too is "condition" when it comes to firearms... barrel length, magazine length, sights, etc.

But... I'd say between $600-$1000, maybe upwards of $1500, depending on where in the country it and you are. Some areas tend toward higher prices... some will say that is a $2500 gun... But, I'd say not more special order items, other than the octagon barrel. And while octagon barrels were a special order, they outnumber the round barrel... so premium on antique mdl 94s tend to be on the round barrel versions.
