Griff,
I bought one of those maybe ten years ago. Wayne McLerran offered those I believe. $40. + $3. shipping. this may not be current as I have hade it for a while. Wayne also wrote a book on the Browning Model 1885 Black Powder Cartridge Rifle. that gives research on this gun. Try him at wayne@Texas-mac.com or http://www.texas-mac.com If this does not work for you try

sorry I do not have a phone number.

hope this is helpful

Little Doc, Certainly a logical place to start.

Likely it was. I just found this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Supereyes-N015- ... 4d14b6fa8a

Thanks for the reply. I was looking for something that'd work in my .223... but 7mm diameter won't do that... but, it'll fit EVERYTHING else I have!!!

I bought one for $17, free shipping but it is 10mm so only works for larger bores. Hooks up to the 'puter and you can capture pics when you want. Hey, it works and I wanted to look at a 44-40 barrel anyway. If you're interested I'll look up the info for you.

For anyone considering the purchase of a borescope for serious bore inspection, I highly recommend first reading Terry Weigrand's article (w/pics) on borescopes in the latest issue of RIFLE Magazine.

http://bulletin.accurateshooter.com/tag/borescope/

In particular, he shows & explains the vast differences in results, between imports, very inexpensive, and/or flexible borescopes and those of a better quality (not necessarily the best quality level) borescope.
