I saw that video on TV the other day. Rather funny actually. But that dumb deer is gonna get him herself shot one day.

Probably by that guy right there.

I'm thinking the deer might just be deaf. It seems to show no reaction at all to the gun report.

Cows don't either. I have had deer walk onto the range where I shoot and graze while I continue shooting. Never had one that close though. That would be cool.
Kind regards,

That's because cows are stooopid! If the good Lord put an animal on this earth dumber than a cow, I'd like to see it. I don't know how many times I've seen a cow going thru a chute with a clear opening on the other end and they'll stop and try to climb the walls.

Sheep.
No, on second thought, sheeple.

Ever seen a buffalo (American Bison) up close?

It's no wonder they almost suffered extinction.

Dumb as a rock.

Simple infantile habituaton?

If the fawn was born on the Range, or just over the fence, it would have no reason to consider gunfire , or people, "abnormal".

Mama's probably totally freaked, but a kid's got to explore its living space...

Ever seen a sheep?

Sheep. We had to shoot somewhere else because the sheep just walked into the target area.

For years I thought the dumbest thing on earth was a sheep. Then one day I pulled up to a stop sign and there was a dove pecking gravel in the middle of the lane. I slowed down and stopped at the intersection......

I thought that the dove had flown off until I heard the sound of my radiator fan creating mince meat in the engine compartment.

Sheep are now #2 on my stoopid list!

Ptarmigan.

Any bird that you can walk within 5 feet (or less) of and shoot in the head with a slingshot (or kill with a rock, stick, or a picture of Blaine) ;) pretty much tops my list...

Though if you are out of food in the AK bush, theybare your BFF...

I once shot my uncle's chicken by mistake. I was shooting 22LR's on our designated range. Evidently the chicken walked behind the backstop without me seeing her. I fired another shot, heard a squawk, then saw her limp out. Of course you know what we had for dinner that night :)
