Piers Morgan OUT !!!

Piers Morgan and CNN are pulling the plug on the Brit's primetime show.

A rep for CNN confirmed to E! News that Piers Morgan Live is ending, with the exact date of the final program still being determined.

According to the New York Times , Morgan said last week he and CNN president Jeff Zucker had discussed Piers Morgan Live 's failure to connect to the network's audience and had decided to cancel it, more than likely in March.

Morgan, who stepped up as the replacement for Larry King, told the Times, "It's been a painful period and lately we have taken a bath in the ratings."

"Look, I am a British guy debating American cultural issues, including guns, which has been very polarizing, and there is no doubt that there are many in the audience who are tired of me banging on about it," he said. "That's run its course and Jeff and I have been talking for some time about different ways of using me."

I can think of a couple of uses for Piers Morgan.........Ted Nugent's butler for one....... :lol:

He seemed to come from out of nowhere--- i assume he was big in Britain before making his way over here, but all he did here was be a judge on some tv talent show before he got this job

Told a friend of mine in Britain we were sending Piers back. He didn't see the humor in it.

I always found him to be pompous and grating as he tried to inform America how wrong we were on various issues, especially firearms. His ratings must have been really bad for CNN to pull the plug on his over the top liberal show. The likes of Wooppy Goldberg et. al. must be in deep mourning over the demise of their hero at CNN. The truth is he is a European elitist. No love lost for me!

You know , if he really hung out with Ted , went shooting, hunting, etc. Ted would probably convert him.
