I once knew a little old lady that always carried a Colt .38 auto when hunting Lions, just in case.
Whatever you do always give 100%........... unless you are donating blood.

If that were real, I don't think the lion shows any hunting behavior other than simple curiosity. Where in lion country would anyone hunt alone?

and that's why I carry a 45lc stubby when I go into the wild....
with 300grn Grizzly ammo ... :-)

LOL -- just readin' Kindle in there ---- maybe he's looking at LEverguns.com on his I-pad ! (but if he was, he'd have a Winny 1886 or a Marlin Guide across his lap -- maybe even a 1895 in .405 Win :) -- not a side lever draped over the backpack

I'm sorry, but I don't think it would matter. He just don't have enough gun there for a shot that close up.

Looks to me like the lion's shadow was caused by light from a slightly different direction than that of the man. Must have been two suns out that day.
