new 32spl levergun - 1958

Post by rjohns94 »

Thanks to those who commented and encouraged the purchase of this rifle on a previous thread of 32 vs 30-30. Here are some pics of the new to me Winchester 1894 dated from 1958:

Pretty kewl huh? '58 is my birth year so this one will be very kewl to have in the field in the years to come, aging together in the fields and woods of autumn.

Great looking levergun.

I was born in 1964 , not a good year for Winchesters.

Congrats Pard...you made a terrific choice.

58' was a banner year for me too. I shot my first rifle competition (placed 7th I think), Pa started me out on bullet casting (got my first lead burn), took my first boxing lessons & bought (from Pa) a like new 03-A3 from money I earned from cleaning parts & running errands for the family company.

Your Winny is a real prize...I hope you get a thousand deer before your through :D :D :D

I have a 1959 32 Win Special. Same condition as yours except the stock is darker.

Very nice rifle.

Very nice indeed!!!! 8)

I never seem to come across 32's from the 50's era. I 've got a 55 30-30 that looks identical to that.

I hope you bag a record first time out with that :D .

yep, I'm all done. I sold two and bought this one, and sold another to buy the sharps. Total # is down. I also sold or gave away three other rifles. I bought one ROA to use my R&D cylinder in. So I sold or gave away 6, added 3 oops 4 (forgot my new 9410)
