Need Gunsmith in Daytona Beach Area

Post by grahng »

I have a Uberti 1873 Lever I want to have a Marbles Tang sight installed on and a trigger job done.
Does anyone know of a GOOD gunsmith in the Daytona Beach Florida area?
Thanks,
Jerry

No I don't but small world, I was born and raised in Ormond-By-The Sea. Growing up our neighbors were 4 miles away and my mother use to shoot raccoons off the garbage cans.

Did you go to Seabreeze? When did you graduate?
We use to go hunting lizards with our BB gun.
I'll take Montana over FL any day.

Hey Rihmfire,
Long time no talk. How have you been?
I don't get out to that club much. Would you happen to know names? Are they on here or Florida Shooters network?
Thanks,
Jerry

Seabreeze 73, GO SANDCRABS !!!

Four miles north of Granada on A1A is an old coastguard tower. Our family owned
that along with (across the street) a business (2 actually -RV park and Texaco station/car repair/welding shop)
none of which are still standing. Last time I was there in 2001 the tower is still there
but the other an empty lot. A few years back my brother sent me a newspaper article that
the tower had been refurbished. The tower dates from WWII when it was built as a submarine
lookout tower, one of hundreds that was built every 10-15 miles all along the east coast Florida to Maine.
It is one of only a couple still standing. It might now even have federal protection as a Historical Place.
Small world.

He is there on Sunday morning shooting skeet.
I don't know if he is on that network.
Go to volusiacountytrapandskeet.com and see if there's a link to him
