Good shootin' Nath. It usually takes me 3 boxes of shells to kill that many Mourning Doves (what we have). I really enjoy your and Tia's pictures.

Do you have Eurasian ring neck doves there?

One ended up in my bag and on my plate and it was tasty.

a piece of brass rod to Knapp ,sharpen the gun flint by chipping tiny pieces off the face to sharpen it for a better spark and more sure fire.

I'm pleased that even doing it the hard way, you achieve success and more importantly you have the satisfaction of a day well spent in the field, Nath, you are an inspiration to us all..... :D

Please though, it is no greatness on my part but a gift from our Creator not only in alowing us to hunt but also all the laws of physics and chemisty that alow us to bring things together for our use. Truely kind.
