Outstanding Customer Service

From Browning. Several years ago I bought a set of packable rain gear at Sportsmans Warehouse. It cost me about $100 for the pants and jacket. I only used it a handful of times. It mostly was tucked away in my hunting pack. Last year I used it in a storm while hunting. Might have well used paper towels. They failed miserably. In April, I called Browning to see if I had screwed up by washing in detergent and machine drying, even though the directions said to. They told me to send it in. I told them they were an older model and he confirmed they had quit making that particular model but went with a different line. At his request I sent it in. I expected to hear that they were too old and sorry. Instead they sent me a brand new set of Hell's Canyon packable pants and jacket. I looked it up and they're about $375 for the set. I called and said I think there's a mistake. They said not to worry and enjoy them. Wow! They got my future business.
And just in time for elk season in two weeks. First time I'm hoping it rains.

That sure is great service. I will keep it in mind the next time I am looking at anything with the Browning name on it.

It's good to know that some big companies actually do care about the customer. I too have had great service from Browning. I once bought a pair of Browning hunting boots and one of them had the sole come unglued after several months of use. The boots were a closeout item bought on sale. Since they had been discontinued, Browning sent me a brand new pair of even better quality boots at no charge.
