My favorite movie of all time is "The Quiet Man" with Duke and Maureen. It also had many family members in it. Maureen's brothers and Duke's kids, along with John Ford's brother.

I have it on DVD as well. it's a tradition with Jr. and I we get together every year on St. Patricks day and watch it together.

If you happen to be on Facebook, there is a group there called the White O'Mourn foundation. They are trying to get the house that is now in ruins restored. They also post bits of information about the area and about the movie.

I was a Universal Movie studio guard on "The Rare Breed" when she, Jimmy Stewart and Brian Keith made it in 1965.

My favorite Wayne/Maureen O'Hara movie.

Come to think of it, "Wings of Eagles" is pretty darn good too.

RIP.

Not at the very top of my list (Oh, Lauren Bacall, why didn't you answer my phone calls :( ) but, a beautiful, and very talented actress. She will be missed.
