You didn't mention what model, they list a type 1 and 2. The forends are out of stock according to the website, you'll have to call about availability.

Maybe my search link will work. Edit: it didn't, but search Stevens and they will come up.

Edit part two: they do show a few beavertail forends in stock as a discontinued item.
"People who object to weapons aren't abolishing violence, they're begging for rule by brute force, when the biggest, strongest animals among men were always automatically 'right.' Guns ended that, and social democracy is a hollow farce without an armed populace to make it work."

Hey Gary,

This looks like the cheapest deal going...don't know whether you need the type I or type II but they both appear to be there.

I just happened to pickup a Savage/Stevens 5100 and it needs a buttstock to replace the cracked one it has. Quite the coincidence.

Try these guys they have a few on hand. I've never used them, but I have to find one for mine too in the near future.

I'd really appreciate you letting me know if you get one, where and what type of quality. Trying not to re-invent the horse.

I guess I didn't explain my reason for wanting to know about the 311 fit and quality. The 5100 I have takes the same wood as the 311, other than if it's a type 1 or 2.
