Another 4 legged friend gone.

Post by piller »

Today we had to put a great little dog to sleep. Chocolate Brownie Mix was a Chihuahua/dachshund mix of unknown parentage. She suddenly started dragging her left leg and seemed to be in pain. We took her to the vet and the x-ray showed degeneration in her spine. The vet said that she was not going to get any better. To end her pain, we put her to sleep. She was a loving lap dog who would rather sleep on your lap than anywhere else. PillHer would go out in the yard and Chocolate Brownie Mix would walk beside her everywhere. No running off. We miss her.

Sorry Brian. Been there more times than I want to think about. They always take a little part of us with them but leave such a big piece behind in our hearts.

"We miss her"

I'm sure you do.

You have lots of good memories though.

I know what you are going through. It's been less than 2 weeks for us, and it still hurts like heck.

Condolences and prayers. Some folks don't understand the connection between people and pets, and mores the pity.

Prayers with you and your pet. I've been there too with a 16 yr. old Cocker. It's so tough. God Bless.

Hate to hear about the loss. My Smokey is having problems now but she doesn't seem to be in pain yet. I dread the thoughts of putting her down.

Oh, man, one of the hardest things in life. Had to put my pal Gunnar down a year ago, and now my older Aussie Bella is awaiting surgery for blown out rear left knee ACL. We loves our doggies, which are proof God loves us.
