A brace o'pheasant.
Went hunting for pheasant with my new flintlock.
Missed a couple but got these two.
Missed a woodcock too!
Oh well, I wanted it harder!
The load was one ounce of 7&narfs with just two nitro cards for a wad. I did use a fibre wad, on top of the shot!

Looks good Nath. Wish I had some of those neck hackles for fly tying. Some neighbors went to South Dakota so I'll ask them for some hackles.

Nice to see it done the rite(old) way makes the meat taste better that way.
Thanks for taking the time to snap and post the picture.I love to see pictures since i read like a 6 year old kid that rides the short bus.
no teasing to kids with dyslexia as i have myself. back when i was a kid they just called you stupid.
I have thought of building a b/p shotgun .mite give that a go this winter for the fun of it.
