New engine build.

Post by Pitchy »

We decided to build a verticle with a big flywheel and a engine on the same side powering it.
Sooooo today we got a good start.

Looks like a good project. Do you put any sketches and such on paper first or just build it out of the images in your head? I have to plan it out with scale drawings in order to keep myself in line. But then I have a reputation of not finishing projects. I guess it's true; '41 Mercury coupe that's been on the rotisserie for 5 years, two wood splitters that are about 75% for 2 years and an Ironhead Sportster that I've been piecing back together for 6 years. These are only the big projects and now I'm not able to get around very well due to pain in my left leg. I'll get them done some day.

No drawings, just build as I go or from looking at a picture on the internet of something I like.
I gotta keep busy or I`ll self destruct, and once I start I don`t stop until it`s done. :)
