Hunting squirrels in the shade of the oaks.
Of course that was with a 22 but this is way more fun
Filling an order for rabbit via air gun!
Jess is due to have puppies this coming weekend! That'll be interesting!!

As always Nath..beautiful pictures.......one thing for sure, you English guys dress classy while hunting and carry classy guns. Maybe the rest of the world is correct when they say the Yanks are a bunch of cowboys.
One thing about those boy squirrels, they got some big nuts for a small animal. ---6

Oh boy puppies! If you've never had puppies before you are in for some fun! Of course Jess will be doing all the work for the first few weeks then get ready for the peeing and pooping everywhere!
I've had 3 litters and I can honestly say each time it has been most enjoyable! Are you planning on keeping a pup?
Keep shooting those squirrels and bunnies!!

As always...Top notch pics and narrative. We will, of course, require full photographic coverage of the puppy show.

I put my ear to the tree if squirrels are scampering about above and if I can hear a dull rattle I know it's males

Six, that is very kind of you to offer but really not necessary. Besides, they may come in one day for yourself.Sixgun wrote: ↑Tue Jun 26, 2018 2:04 pmLittle off topic Nath, but like Gamekeeper, I have a big bag....several hundred of those 12 ga. wads that they used to use in the paper shotgun shells...give me a pm and I'll get em to ya.---6gamekeeper wrote: ↑Tue Jun 26, 2018 1:41 pm PS if you want any more of those Felt wads, I have a some more.

Enjoyed the pics of you and Jess. Wish it were possible to ask for a pup but I'm sure it's not. Congrats on the new litter. Hoping all goes well.
