Uh-Oh
.
(shamelessly stolen from elsewhere)
One Halloween night, some pranksters tipped over the farmer's outhouse.
The following morning, the farmer questioned his son, who had been out the night before.
"Son, last night somebody tipped over our outhouse. Would you happen to have been in on that ? ", the farmer inquired.
The son took a deep breath, and 'fessed up: "Yes, Sir. I helped do it."
The dad took is son out to the woodshed for some instruction in procedures.
Afterwards the boy sobbed: "You always told me to tell the truth. You told about how as a boy George Washington chopped down the cherry tree. Then he confessed to his pa and he didn't whip him because he told the truth."
"Son," the man explained, "George Washington's daddy wasn't in that tree."

HA...
Saw that one coming.
Saw that one coming.
Government office attracts the power-mad, yet it's people who just want to be left alone to live life on their own terms who are considered dangerous.
History teaches that it's a small window in which people can fight back before it is too dangerous to fight back.

Re: Uh-Oh
When my cousin was a young teenager, he got into his uncle's Willys Jeep, which being a WW2 one just started with a push button if I recall, and was driving it around the farm. He ran into the outhouse with the Jeep - when his Mom was in it...!!!

Re: Uh-Oh
I hope he wasn't using the red corn cob at the time. I am sure all of you know about the 3 corn cob method. 2 red and 1 white. Back in the 30s and 40s the corn with the red cob was more common and grew larger ears of corn. The corn which grew white cobs for the ears was smaller and usually came from the sweet corn grown in the garden for eating at the table. You took 2 red cobs and 1 white cob to the outhouse with you. You used 1 red cob first then the white cob to see if you needed to use the second red cob. I heard that from so many old timers in the area that I think it was as common as using a Monkey Wards or a Sears catalog to wipe with.
