Don't know anything about them, but it might be worth an email.

Might be worth the effort to follow Tycers ABO link. I had them repair an old Redfield, and its sure good to have that old bugger back working just like it did 35 years ago. :)

Most of my scopes are Tasco or Weaver, or Bushnell, and I've not had any trouble with any of them. They aren't expensive, but they show me what I need to see, and get the job done.

They'll Be Back

Post by Idiot »

Hold your breath long enough and they'll be back. The Weaver name goes down and comes back up often. The actual Weaver company has been out of business for a long time - kinda like Redfield.

Weaver was a part of Meade.....the telescope/microscope company, but
they're now part of ATK.............just the mounts though.

FYI Weaver isn't going out of business someone isn't telling you the truth it was purchased by ATK from Meade Instruments in Irvine,CA and Redfield was purchased by Leupold !

Frank opened that buisiness when Weaver was sold, that was many years ago.
Frank was older than me and I am 55 now, and it is quite likley the parts have been depleted by now.
It is a shame.
