OT - Need info to rent Trvl Trailer or RV in TN
I won 2 backstage RV tickets to a four day outdoor concert in TN at a benefit auction. I thought I could sell them, but am not allowed, so I guess I'm going.
I understand an RV or travel trailer with A/C is a must.
I know nothing about RVs or travel trailer or renting them.
Any help?

Well, TTT, that could take awhile. You know, the 12-step program, and all.BlaineCGarverakaTubbyTuba wrote:**Bump**
Try AAA or Google the topic.....
Tycer,
I wish I could help you. I have not been to TN in over 30 years, and in a brand-new Pontiac LeMans Saffari station wagon, too!

Manchester in June. The thing is called Bonnaroo. www.bonnaroo.com We get to park the RV in the backstage "friends and family" parking area and don't have to go out and mingle with the 80K young people that camp out in the fields.Dave wrote:What part of TN? What's are 2 backstage RV tickets?
We'll park somewhere in the bottom right corner of the pix. To say we are dubious as to whether we will have a good time....
Kind regards,

Mee too. I've gotten where I don't like crowds.TedH wrote:I recognized 2 names in the list of performers. I don't believe that would be my cup of tea. Maybe I'm just getting old. Good Luck.
I like comedy and would have liked to see a couple from '07. There are several bluegrass bands I like listed there.
The 2008 lineup comes out in January.
I paid $1200 for the tickets at the benefit auction knowing I could easily sell them for double that....until I found out they are not allowed to be sold - the tickets are one of a kind and have never been offered before. It includes a couple of private acoustic concerts, free food and beverage, and a couple of extra perks.
Even if I don't go, I'm glad I was able to help out at the auction.
Kind regards,
Tycer

I once sold RV's, in another lifetime.
Rent a driveable unit - micro-mini, a mini (class B) or a class A motor home. It's more expensive than a towable, but less hassle, insurance & tow vehicle -wise. Don't get one too big - 21' to 24' should be fine.
You'll be more comfortable with one that has a bed(s) setup 24/7, as opposed to having to change a couch or dinette table to one every night.
Check each's bathroom for comfortable size.
All of the above means that you have to pack up, very time you move (like going somewhere for dinner, sight-seeing, etc),or risk damage to the unit and/or your "stuff", that a towable unit obviates because you can just "drop it" & run around in the tow vehicle.
