Very interesting stuff. In my neck of the woods, Cowpens is one of the most interesting battlefields to visit. In the past few years the area has been returned to the state it was in at the time of the battle, and it's one of the few battlefields of that era where you can walk the field, clearly see the terrain, and visualize how the fight actually unfolded. Morgan's plan was risky, with his back to the Broad River, but brilliant, and brilliantly executed. Bloody Ban fled for his life!
