It looks like it's been over two months since his last post.

I have your Georgia address Mike Cochran, but I see you went to Alaska or are going soon. Address this as soon as you can.

Having done business with 86er, I know he more than likely sent his goods without recieving funds, and they were exactly or better than what he said they would be. Too bad he is getting burned.

This is sad.

I've had the pleasure of spending a couple days with Joe and have seen him do some amazingly selfless things for people here on this very forum. The thought that someone would take advantage of his trust is awfull to say the least.

I am dissapointed!

Joe, I'm sorry you're having this problem. Hopefully he will make good.
If not, Karma has a way of catching up with people like this. I've seen it several times, and it ain't pretty.

You have done many nice and unselfish things for others here on the board, and to see your trust in others being abused is especially frustrating.

All the best to you,
John

I advocate making this thread a sticky until dgr416 squares up.

I hope it's just a miscommunication. If not, he'd have squared up by now. Making it a sticky won't change anything.

Ammo I sold

Post by dgr416 »

I sold some boxes of 308 ammo to 86er .He shot a few I think 4 of the boxes of hornady 308 ammo and wanted his money back after he had shot the ammo. There were two boxes of 308 that I bought at a gunshow that were military brass but loaded to specs.I shot other boxes of both ammo and they fired in my H&K 91 and my browning BLR 308.So if ammo goes pow does it mean its not good?I called Hornady and they said they would replace the 4 boxes of Hornady 308 ammo but he didnt do that.I dont think I should refund money on shot ammo thats BS.Its like buying gas I didnt make that ammo Hornady did.Its not the gas station that made the bad gas its the manuacturor that did.Hornady agreed to replace it and the other two boxes fired fine in my gun.I dont think i am the one thats wrong on this.If you shoot the ammo and I usually give a three day refund period not weeks. He shot the ammo and I called hornady and they said scence they made it they would replace it.

Hey Mike - thanks for getting back to me. There was no issue with the Hornady ammo. I sent you the two white boxes back via Fed Ex ground to your GA address. They confirmed delivery. I would like a refund for those two boxes. The boxes contain different bullet types and more than half wont chamber in my rifle - can't even close the lever. Some of the primers are protruding excessively. You said you would refund those two boxes. I hope your move is going well. Take this to my personal e-mail after this by PM'ing me. Thanks.
