A case hardened .357 with a side loading gate might just trip my trigger.

Would love one in 327mag, and wish they could offer a thin aftermarket (with logo) hard plastic butt plate with proper screw dimensions to replace the factory recoil pad, 14" is to long for me.

I would like one in .45 Colt. It would match up well with my Ruger Blackhawk. Reasonable loads for the Henry would do well in both the Ruger and the Carbine. No need to go with Ruger only level handloads. I kind of enjoy 300 grain JSP at 1050 fps out of my Blackhawk on occasion, but they can become a bit wearing after a while. The Proper load with that bullet out of a Carbine should give enough power to take anything I am likely to hunt with it.

Re: Anthony Imperato, More than Just Hinting . . . .
When I was looking for my 41 mag big boy all of my local fun stores told me it would be weeks before they could get one. I emailed Henry, a prompt reply followed by a reassuring phone call from the man himself that a 41 mag was on the way to my dealer of choice. Sure enough within a week the dealer called to say they had my gun.
If I had the budget and another safe I'd have one of each model.

I have had to deal with them for a customer service need. Problem was fixed quickly and effortlessly. They have great customer service in my experience.

Interesting, I've been sitting on the fence for a long time about a Henry BBS in 357. I've handled/fondled a few of these rifles and they fit real comfortable, but I've been somewhat hesitant. Can't quite put my finger on it, so to speak.
To make matters a bit worse, a gun shop about 35 minutes from here still has the rifle version in stock ($700 +tax).
Must be the age thing (??).
