OT - Pedersoli Rolling Block question

Post by gon2shoot »

Just talked to a friend who said he bought a Pedersoli rolling block; it's marked 1878 with an RD or RO. It's got a 30" bbl.
He was wanting to know what to shoot through it.

I'm not too sharp on Pedersoli's. Can anyone enlighten me?
I told him to stick to trapdoor loads till I could get some info. :?:

Well stuff. :x :P

I HAD the information you need, as to what the Pedersoli rollers are rated for, but the file seems gone. You shouldn't have too much trouble finding it on Google, like I did a couple years ago.

Assuming it's 45-70, you can go above Trapdoor loads, but don't go crazy.
Slow is just slow.
