Really!. I was just looking for reloading supplies!!

Post by 2ndovc »

They were just sitting there, being ignored in the corner. Two brand new S&W M&P 10mms, a 4" and the 4.62. Looked them both over and decided the longer barreled pistol need to come home with me.
I've been chasing a S&W 1006 for a while, but they are selling for more than I want to spend on one.

So, in my mind I've completed the set. A CHP 4006, 40 S&W, Blackhawk convertible 10/40 and the new M&P 10mm.

A big thanks to ScottT for graciously selling some Dillon gear, I can get a little more serious about reloading for these two.

I have had a M&P 45 and still have M&P 2.0s in 9mm and .40.
My only 10mm is a Kimber.....
I have 6 or 7 or 8 Glocks  so wasn't really wanting another.
Another M&P sounds dandy. 👌

Had my eye on those too Jason! Don't really need one, my Kimber 10mm is just fine, but those are supposed to be nice!!!! -Andy

I've had an M&P 9mm for several years, great pistol. I had a Cot Delta that I'd gotten from a friend's estate. That thing would chew the center out of a target at 25yds time after time. I ended up selling it. Bummed me out having it around when my friend was no longer with us.

Figured this one would due for now. Especially when I have a couple thousand rounds just sitting around with nothing to do. :D

RIA makes a good 10mm. Looks like a 1911 with fiberoptic front sight. Heavy enough to tame the recoil.

I had a Kimber 1911 6” in 10mm for awhile . Sounds kinda stupid , but I bought it solely with intentions of killing a deer using a 180 or 200 grain homecast bullet . Also bought a Leupold DeltaPoint for it but never could get the correct Leupold adapter base to mount the darn thing . So I shot it enough to work up four loads cast and jacketed 180’s as well as cast and jacketed 200’s . Then cleaned the gun up and in the safe after about six months I sold it and the DeltaPoint for more than what I pad for them . Almost forgot I’ve got a setup Lee Loadmaster for the 10mm and another for the 45ACP . Probably oughtta take pics of them , box them up then list them on GB as well as a Lee 1000 for the 9mm and 357 . I have no intention of loading pistol stuff any longer .

Jason, that's a nice litter of 10s you have there. But you'll need to add a Sig 320 X-Ten ... 8)

I will and it is much appreciated!

Piller,
I've been looking at those and the Girsan 1911 with the 6" slide.

As was said above, these things are addictive. :D

By the way,

If anyone knows of a source for 10mm M&P magazines, please let me know. I'm not having any luck with the usual places.
I sent an email to S&W, we'll see if they respond.

Jason, I have been looking at the Girsan as well. It's a hefty one at 50 ounces, but it ought to be a pussycat to shoot even with heavy Underwoods or their home-brewed equivalents.
