A Sad Day Today ....
Long-time friend and fellow Shootist Tom Richardson passed away this morning after a battle with cancer. Tom was a driving force behind the CSA shooting events in Arkansas that grew out of the old Sixgunner.Com website. I woke up early this morning with Tom on my mind and feeling like I needed to send him a message, which I did. Four or five hours later I received word that he had passed.
Que você descanse com os anjos, meu velho amigo, até que eu me junte a você e façamos uma festa.

Rob Leahy mentioned that earlier today, a sad day.

He was a good friend and I miss him already. But I’ll see him again.

Sorry about this, Jim.
Yesterday, I messaged a fella over at castboolits whose name I recognized, having sent many PMs back and forth over the years at the old Frontier Folk site to his twin brother Paul, who had popped into my head recently. Both these boys were from Maine. Mark informed me that Paul died of cancer in January -- and I could tell it was still a hard thing with him.

Rest in Peace.
Lost a friend yesterday myself. We think it was a heart attack. Early 50's, slim, fit, non-smoker, not a heavy drinker, no heart issues. Just doesn't make sense at all.

When it is your time, you probably have little choice. My condolences on your losses.
