Winchester 94 barrel change question

What steps are involved in installing a new barrel on a Winchester 94? What needs to be done to put an AE barrel on a non-AE reciever, and vice versa?

You'll have to cut an extractor groove and index the barrel either by removing material off the shoulder or by adding a spacer.
