Not an NRA member? Interested? Here's your chance...

Post by AmBraCol »

I just signed my son up again. Let his membership lapse do to a $$$ problem. So got two years for $25. Not a bad thing at all, and this time he's not a minor so perhaps he'll keep it going when the time comes. Anyway, here's a good chance to get on board, send a message, organize and take the NRA back to a more conservative/constitutional emphasis, etc...

This is a good deal, even for renewing your membership. Five years for $20 a year - not a bad deal if you'd like to be able to vote and don't have the requisite years yet...

Well, I'm glad to help. :) I'd let my membership lapse due to their idiotic foreign located membership extra mailing charge. They claim that less than $10 goes for the magazine so one would think that out of the additional $25 they could swing the $10 for a foreign membership. And I'm a US citizen, for crying out loud. Just want to stay as active as possible in the arena even though I live outside the US of A. Anyway, the "Messiah" pushed me into not just rejoining but signing up for the "easy pay life" plan. This link makes it even easier to get new folks in. Hopefully we can start pushing them towards a more conservative view point on the gun issue. We, as members, need to tell them "Just say NO!!!!!! to ANY new 'gun control' measures." I, for one, am tired of them compromising our rights away. Still, they are "the best game in town" although Gun Owners of America is another good one to back in my opinion.

Has anyone verified this with the NRA? If you go directly to the NRA homesite first, there's zero mention of free memberships. Click on "join the NRA" and you'll have the option to buy a membership, but nothing free. This link could be a gag or someone gathering gunowner personal information.

If it's something else, other than the NRA, then it's an inside job. :) http://www.nrahq.org/ is one of the NRA's official websites.

Yes, but when you go directly to the link you provided, I can't seem to find the free offer anyplace. I hope this is legit., but assuming it is, why can't you go to the free offer from http://www.nrahq.org/ ? At least I don't see it anyplace.

The confirmation email I received after ordering looks legit, the money removed from my bank account with a notation of NRA membership. My buddy said he couldnt find it without using the link as well. I dont know, I just used the link and have no problems. You could call !-877-NRA-2000 and ask if it real.

I just spoke with my wife about joining. Told her about the deal and she said she wanted a membership too. I asked her which and after looking she went for the two year deal. I'd like to go for the lifetime and at $500 it sounds like quite the deal. Wish they'd let me do the payment program on that, I'd be all over it.

Got a friend to join up too. Thanks for the link! :D
