OT: Ammo Locator Thread

Not sure if this has been tried -- but - let's try it. It seemed to work pretty well for primers a few weeks back.

If you're:
-looking for ammo
or
-find ammo

that's relatively hard to get these days (45 ACP, 9MM, even *cheap* 22's maybe?)

Post the area / store / how much they had left / date / time you put eyes on it

If you go to the said store and they're out -- post "they're out" also...

Maybe include websites? Not sure if that would be too much - but what the heck.

Let's see if we can help each other out.

I'll start!

Houston Area

-I bought
Federal American Eagle -- 9mm Luger FMJ - ~$17 a box
@ Carters Country off I-10 in Houston
Friday 4/24 @ 9:00 am.

They have a 5 box limit and looked to have about ~50 boxes left.




They also had around 20 boxes of
Federal American Eagle -- 38 Special FMJ
Same place and time

I have a CHL class in ~1 week and I can't find any ammo!

Limit 5 boxes of 50. If you really need 300 rounds or so for the course, get a buddy or relative to order some.

I bought 5 bxs 40 SW (12.47) and 1 45 ACP (14.49) at Walmart in Port Arthur last week. This is BLAZER Brass. They still have some 9 boxes of 40 left. Keep stopping by these stores until they have some in stock. I spoke with the guys at ACADEMY. They sell out the same day they receive their shipments.

OK, I was gonna start a new thread but I'll post it here cos you've already started it.

I found AMMO and lots of it. Right here in Central IL.

All the normal rifle and pistol calibers including Hornady Leverevolution in .45 Colt and 45-70, maybe others as well. Mostly Remington rifle ammo, but some Winchester and some Hornady.
Had the 333 bulk pack of 39gr Winchester LR HP ammo too.

So if you're in Springfield or the surrounding areas go to Farm & Home Supply on north Dirkson Parkway.
