OT - Happy Independence Day = please take time to protest!

Post by O.S.O.K. »

Happy 4th of July.

Those of us that are US Citizens are truely blessed.

I ask that you take some time on the 4th of July and exercize your 1st Amendment rights and attend a tea party protest.

They will not laugh and scoff if these continue at regular intervals and build in number of attendees.

It shows resolution and intent. It shows activism and willingness to contribute.

God Bless America - we need it now as much as when we were first formed.

We plan on attending the one here in Batesville Friday nite.

Mescalero, type in teaparty Arizona and you should be able to get a list.

Here you go!

http://www.teapartyday.com/Map.aspx

That shows the locations on a map - wow!!!! But there are tabs for getting information.

You can also go here: http://www.meetup.com/ and find the tea parties in your area - its a good idea to joing a meetup group = they basically alert you to all of the events that you subscribe to.

I went to the Austin TP today - actually got my daughter and future SIL to come along. There were about 800-1000 people in attendance - a good showing! This is quite a bit more than the first one - a very good sign! :)
