I feel like a real jerk

Post by Barcelona Rick »

I posted a desire for a Marlin 1894S round barrel in 45 Colt...BigBore45Colt Pm'ed me with a really good deal.....we agreed on a price, I talked to my FFL Holder and the whole nine yards. Then I had something fail apart that was gonna help with the funds to purchase said Marlin......so I reposted my apology and then PM'ed BB45C with my apology and my explanation. I must have made him mad cause I haven't heard back....I will take this time to apologize again for any and all difficulties I may have cause. I put the cart before the horse and I don't usually do that. So BigBore45Colt once again I am certainly sorry sir.

Seems to me I've done that a time or twenty when it's come to a planned gun purchase...

jumbeaux,

Just got caught up on my PMs, been tied up with work.

No problem at all, stuff happens. It's really no big deal. PM or call me if things change and you get the funds together and still want to buy the rifle. But, please, don't sweat it. There are bigger things in life to worry about.

Take care,

Darn, I was hoping for a "jerry springer" type of intervention with lots of name calling and inappropriate audience participation and drama... JUST KIDDING Great place to hang out with adults.

It is called being adults and realizing that the world DOES NOT revolve around you. Stuff happens. Some of the younger folks have to wake up to that fact. Here is hoping they do before it is too late. As already said by others, that is why I like this place.

Wow acting like adults, being responsible for your own actions, apologizing for when things beyond our control go wrong. Where am I? I thought this was USof A in 2009, seems more like what I remember of small towns in the 70's and 80's. Congratulations gentlemen. Tom

This is proof that "Jumbeaux" and "BigBore45Colt" are great guys. I'm so glad to be a part of this forum.
