Price Check .45-70 Marlin 1895
Serial No.21061XXX.
Fitted with1.5-5x32 Weaver scope.
Seller's Description: "Excellent condition. This gun has only had 10 rounds through it & has sat in the safe ever since. Beautiful gun & has been taken care of. Has a hammer spur, micro groove barrel & original open sights supplied."

I don't know about the scope, but the rifle alone should be worth $400-475 based on the condition and the fact that the sights are missing. They are very neat rifles. I have had two made in 1979 like the one pictured and they were both very accurate.

saw a newer one (2005 mfr date) on GB for $450 chambered in .450 Alaskan
