Gizmo saw his first turkey.
We got a new pup some months ago and named him Gizmo. He's coming up on 7 months now and he's half Beagle and half Jack Russel. He's been a great pup so for but he's very quiet. Well today the turkeys that travel our place all winter were in the yard today and Gizmo saw them for the first time. He never made a sound and just stared and watched them. I like that. Cool under pressure.

Sounds like a very good combination!!! I wonder if he will sound off when and if he hunts?

Re: Gizmo saw his first turkey.
good looking pups almost time for us to all post the pics of the Pups again. not sure how people get a beagle/anything that is quiet. My beagles have always been yappers. My current beagle/boxer mix climbs the doors yapping at any bunny that comes near the yard
