OT-Prayer request for my youngest grandson (23 months)

Post by Borregos »

The little guy is in the wars again, he has managed to badly burn his hands on a hot stove. Your prayers and thoughts for a quick and full healing would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Pete

Kids heal well, and it's a good thing - they do manage to injure themselves quite a bit. Prayers done.

Pete my prayers go out....you might want to get in touch with a Shriner in your area. Shrine Hospitals do a great job with burns. The local Masonic Lodge can get you the information or you can go on the Shriners web site. I have sponsored several children with spinal, leg, foot and other problems. If I can assist y'all let me know....

He is going to see a plastic surgeon on Wednesday as a precaution, the doctor who saw him today thinks everything will be ok but referred us to this specialist just in case. He is running around quite unconcerned with his hands all bandaged up, he certainly is a tough little guy!

Hi All,

I remember when my younger brother burned his hand on the top of the stove.....about the same age. He was tall enough to put his little trucks on top of the stove, but not tall enough to see on top. Mom had been scolding him about it for two or three weeks. When she tried to put him in the "time out corner", he threw a tantrum and delibrately slapped the stove top with Mom standing not three feet from him. Perfect set of electric burner swirls on the palm of his hand. That's been fifty five years ago, as I think about it!!

Prayers sent !

If it eases your mind any, when my big guy was 3 he burned all the skin off 4 fingers. He was back to normal in 4 weeks and after 2 days he hardly mentioned it. Here's to quick healing!
