Good luck on your hunt. May you get the one you want.

That is great good luck on your hunt! I often put in for a ewe tag as I happen to love the taste of Big horns, Dare I say maybe the most tasty animal in North America. It takes me 3 or 4 years to get the Ewe tag I have only taken one Ram a 39'' I was 17 and it is the Trophy of my life! For us resident hunters up here we have lot's of hunting ops for Rams. Some day soon I hope to go for a Stone and Dall in Northern B.C or Yukon.
P.S I took my Sheep with a lever a savage 99 in .300

Congrats! I can certainly appreciate your efforts. I apply all over the west for such tags and have yet to draw such a sought after one.

I wish you the best of luck for a rewarding and memorable hunt. If you happen to use a levergun, that's all the better :)

Thank you to all who wished me luck. Pictures will be posted after the hunt, which is in late August. After scouting I will decide which gun to use, either a scoped bolt gun Kimber Montana in 308 or a lever, Savage 99EG in 300 Savage. Will just depend on the potential shot distance I see during scouting. I feel good to about 130-150 yards with the open sites on the Savage. BUT this is a once in a life time tag, don't want to blow the shot or wound one.
