Nope my Fiancee/GF and I are sitting here in the lobby of our hotel watching it rain outside so I needed something to do !

I have however for the last week or so been debating the idea of not hunting whitetails anylonger and put all my effort toward Sika Deer !

Well, even though yer bored & funnin' - you might be surprised what'll come to mind as you get older.

I sold off 90% of my guns, starting about 10 years ago, so I could fund my early retirement @ age 62, paying off EVERYTHING ( mortgage/cars/credit cards/etc) - but have since trimmed my keepers even further (down today to about 2 dozen), as the foibles of age & activity effects me more & more - aka, "hitting the wall".

Yep, it sucks - but the alternative (dirt nap) sucks even more.

If I hunt all 3 seasons , archery , ML and gun that means a Sika male and female each season . Six of those guys should be plenty for me in a reduced hunting season !

Of course optimum situation for this idea would be for me to acquire 40-60 acres of good Sika property in lower Dorchester County !

Geeze, I thought you got a new wife or girlfriend. A few years back a sometimes buddy of mine got a new girlfriend and within a year, he sold off about a 125 guns. When the guns were sold and the money spent, the new girlfriend took off.
