Just registered.

Only have a Winchester 62a (ca. 1951) so far. Can't seem to wrap my hands around one I'd like any better. More accurate than I am and feeds and shoots without flaw.

Been wanting a 22wmr by Taurus. Henry has one, but the looks just don't work for me. Maybe the new Puma will come out with one shortly.

Welcome aboard everyone. I kind of envision it as a sister site to Leverguns.

OS, For some reason your registration is different. I am trying to handle it and have asked for help.

Appears to be something wrong here - received the emailed verification link but clicking it leads to the forum with a verification failed message. It is their verification link that they sent that I clicked on so they apparently don't have the bugs worked out.

Maybe Bruce can work that out.

Guys, there's a difference between

http://forum.pumprifle.org

and

http://www.pumprifle.org

The first is the forum, the second is the website. They run on different software so there is no sharing of usernames/passwords between the two. Old Savage's problem cropped up from this difference. He can log into the website but not the forum. Well, I set up a forum user for him but I can't do that for 1,000 guys so am posting here to let you all know. :) Old Savage, you can set up your profile and change your password from the User Control Panel when you log in to the forum.

We're still looking at options for the website. Eventually we will probably have "member only" content. Right now we just have links and articles that are open for public perusal and use.

So, use the link to the forum (like what Hobie posted originally) and register there for forum access. Register on the site for future access to future features. :)

Thanks Paul and I think the problem was a did not do the registration code box with the disguised numbers and letters and it took my name and password and sent me an email but that would not let me in. I will try it again.

Still seems not to work. Tells me my password isn't right but won't send me one because it can't find my username and doesn't like the one it confirmed in the original email and tells me my user name is already in use if I try to reregister.

OS - you should be good to go. I put in the password you sent me then logged in (after going past the CAPTCHA thingie) and it worked fine.

Paul, it still tells me that that is the incorrect password and when I click the forgot password it says it does not recognize the user name. Can I be erased from the system and start over?

Tried to reregister as OS and it seems that is too short. Tried to login with my regular name and it said I tried too many times and had to use the CAPTcha code and then said that was wrong. Maddening!

Paul - would you send me the password as you understand it that I sent you?

So username doesn't exist and is already being used sends me the password in an email then says it is the wrong password. New name too short, tried too many times must have the capcha code - no that is not right.

Is this candid camera!!!??? :D

I fooled it - adopted a new identity and a mask - reregistered as The Lone Ranger - tonto was however too short as a password - thought for a moment it was on to me but I made it in. Looking for an avatar pic of that masked man awp if that is in your bag of tricks.
