Rhett Akins is one of my favorites...Good ole southern boy who loves to hunt and fish!
The bone collector is a hunting tv show on the outdoor channel hosted by
Micheal Waddel and Rhett is one of his buddies....
Outstanding southern country/rock artist....that is not politcally correct and
he cant get any radio airtime.......but his cd music in my truck!

Great song for sure.

Another good artist to check out is Justin Moore. He is sponsored by the NRA and on his new album set to come out in June he has a song called "Guns" which it basically says you cant take my guns.

Only ones on youtube right now is live versions but its a good song. I heard it live a couple months ago. He has been one of my favorite artist for a while now. Him and Rhett Adkins right songs together also.

:D

Neither of my grandfathers were into guns, though both were veterans. My paternal grandfather passed away before I was born. My maternal grandfather passed away a couple months before Y2K was born when I was in my 30's. A couple months after he passed my grandmother asked me if I wanted my grandfather's gun. I was shocked - he had never mentioned owning a firearm during my entire life, and was well aware of my hobby.

Well, it turned out to be a little double-action revolver in .32 Long. Nothing to write home about, but priceless to me. I have already given it to Y2K - so he has a gun that belonged to his great grandfather. :D

Boy, what a mess them .45's make.

When seconds mean life or death, the police are only minutes away.
