That's great up there in Minnesota. I'm guessing you'll be able to use it for your May bath and maybe the September one too but after that you'd be nuts to try it in the winter.

a few years ago our well went dry, so i borrowed a 1000 gal tank on a trailer & filled it in town, we took our baths out of that till our new well was drilled & that was cuz we had to. showed the wife your tub, she said you need to come here
& show me how to be creative

I think i`ll use the shower more than the bath but then again the way these ageing bone feel a hot bath may feel pretty good.

Added a circulating pump on the boiler, now she heats up fast, we both were in there playing a while ago. Sorry no pictures allowed.

This is the pump set -up i installed, it works great and ya can regulate the water temp by controling the fire.
And we are getting sun today so waiting to try out the shower later after the water heats up.

Took the glass down, it`s kinda tinted and i think just the sun is hotter, any suggestions welcome.
It isn`t that hot here anyway, only about 75 partly cloudy, on a 80+ day it should heat good.

Setting a piece of glass over the top of the tank to keep in the heated air will help to warm the water as well as painting the inside and outside black. I've used a solar shower for years and love em'.
