I've also met him, he was the guest of honor at out last Infantry ball as he was in the same regiment, 157. I had the pleasure of shaking his hand and speaking with him for a bit.

I remember, very well, the national story about the Homeowners' Association trying to order him to take down the American flag from his property. What a rare hero, indeed.
