Inexpensive Shooter

Post by Swampman »

Found this one in a pawn shop. It's a .357. I'm probably going to try to find some original grips for it, but these are growin' on me.

The grips(stocks?-just saying, I have been chastized on another forum for saying grips) look cool to me I like them. And I don't get all the fuss about the nomenclature. God Bless

Oh heavens, now we will have the "clip vs magazine" thing AGAIN.

By the way, that's a good looking firearm. Do you know the date of manufacture?

Nice Gun (er) Weapon, I like the stocks (er) grips. How many Clips (er) Mags did U get with it. Whatever that is one to be proud of. Is that an Old Homestead or Hickory Knife ? I just picked up one similar to it.

Swampman,
That's a sweet shooter for sure. The grips and knife handles look like a matched set. I've seen grips that are far worse so if they fit decent and work why not leave 'em?

rodeo kid,
Next time the subject of grips come up on the other forum call 'em: "grippy stock handles" and watch 'em go nuts over that.

... with a six round magazine, clip, drum, cylinder, wheelie-thing, and a seven-inch pipe, tube, barrel-hole.

A purty revolver found a good home.

Nice.

The knife is an Old Hickory from a junk shop. I buy them if they are $5.00 or less.
