Erma Werke golden boy or a version of the Ithaca M72 I haven't seen before. The gold writing on the barrel screams Henry though and I think I've heard that the Henry .22 is nothing more than the Ithaca M72 carried on, so perhaps it's an early Henry before they changed the receiver on the Golden Boy to look more like a Winchester 1866.

So in other words I don't know! But I suspect it's one of those three.

This is plagiarized from someone else, but I love it!

I was born a gun owner.
It wasn't a choice.
I didn't become one later in life.
I was born this way.

Bruce was the 1st to guess correctly - CONGRATS, Bruce !

I thought it interesting enough to post about here.

It's a Henry H001T Frontier, with a special-order brasslite receiver cover, made up especially for the Henry lovers over on RFC, by the company in Michigan that does the Golden Boy covers for Henry. :o

It seems many there likes the bling of the Golden Boy, but couldn't abide the mega stock drop & no RF scope grooving in the cover - ot to mention the extra $$$ for a GB.

There's a history on RFC, of Henry owners stripping their receiver cover's paint, and refinishing them as brushed stainless, color case hardened, and more - so someone contacted the company about brass plating.

The above is what resulted - $25 for the cover/screws, + $10 for the bbl band. A BARGAIN, compared to a GB.
