Help needed - Update

Guys, I need some help. Last Monday evening, my wife became seriously ill – very short of breath and chest pains. I called 911 and she was transported to the local emergency room. As the evening went on, her blood pressure fell and she began rambling in her speech, but she had not had a heart attack. Over the previous 3 weeks, she had been suffering from a bout of diverticulitis and was being treated with antibiotic.

Since early Tuesday morning, she has been in the Intensive Care Unit and the various doctors give little hope for recovery. She has pre-existing pulmonary hypertension, enlarged spleen, rheumatoid arthritis (35 years), lymphocitic leukemia, and her kidneys are failing.

Things have gone from bad to worse. We found out yesterday that she's had a massive stroke that damaged a great part of the cerebellum and her organs are now beginning to shut down. She's experiencing DIC which is a condition that causes bleeding in the organs. In short, we are told there’s no medical solutions for all that's wrong and absent an actual miracle, it's just a matter of time.

Our son, although not an MD, is a DDS/Orthodontist and has had enough medical training to separate the wheat from the chaff when listening to the doctors. He is in agreement with what they say.

The help I need is prayer. Any you could spare would be appreciated.

UPDATE: Today, after 40 years, 6 months, and 18 days of having her, I buried my. We had 2 wonderful children, Susan now 32 and Allen,35. She was my life and will be missed beyond belief. Many thanks to all for your thoughts and prayers.

Chas., my condolences for your wife's condition and the situation you find yourself in. That's a tough spot to find oneself in and I pray your wife doesn't suffer long and you and your family find peace with it all.
