Looks like rains falling on both sides of the planet at the moment.
It's gotten to the stage where I have to pump water out of the pool instead of into it
It has been bucketing down for nearly a week over here and today was the first day of sunshine so I could actually go out and have a shoot. Temp only got to a max of 55F today. Dang, that's cold.

Lets see if i cut a hot water tank in half length ways and weld them end too end and make a bracket to mount it on the front of the snow bucket i could at least push some dirt into the the washouts.
Poor mans blade.

What's popular where I used to be from is a big square of that heavy security grate..the kind that has that diamond pattern to it....they hook it up on 10 foot of chain/whatever, and drag it around....

Good, you can have it all and I could care less if we never got any rain for the next 15 years or 'till I'm dead, whichever comes first. For the last 5 years my yard has been a swamp with record rains. Missed out on a lot of shoots because of the rain. This year has been dry though. Farmers are peed off a bit and so is my better half as the price of hay will double.

Like I said, I don't care about other peoples issues. I have my 50K primers, the guns are oiled and best of all, I have my INGOTS. yeaaaaaaa.....ingots!! :D :D

It's a raining here to Pitchy... Got home around 7 and had been bright sunlight with puffy clouds all day... and sat down for a 'few' minutes and next thing I knew was it was kinda dark outside and thought to myself "Gees, its is getting dark fast, must havebeen on computor to long". Then I looked at the clock and it wasn't even 8:30 yet. stepped outside and got on the tractor to get some hay for the cows and rain started coming... Drove out to the field and where bales are at and water squishing out from under tires... Ever see water come squirting out from under tri-rib tires? It's wet here. I was wet by the time I got back in too.
I've got lot of hay to cut and don't like cutting with my tires wet hour after hour. So, I sure would like the rain to head to the fellers that are in need of it for a couple weeks.
Just wondering, is there a 'no rain for a couple weeks' dance?

I'm fine, I live on the top of the hill. Lots of street damage, etc. I'm thinking of comming out of retirement to run equipment.
I need to get down to my land to make sure the beavers arn't saving too much water. There should be quite the hay crop this year.
Pitchy, sorry your driveway took a hit. My garden was under water. It has drained off already. I think it's all going to be OK. My cabin is down in se Aitkin co. I'm sure the roads to get there are flooded. Headed to Grand Rapids today and have to go up to Hibbing to get there. Hwy 2 has a bridge out at Floodwood.

Thanks guys, glad your doing ok over there Owen 8)

Well i got the driveway fixed up, the loader on the 60 only has a trip bucket and has a wide snowbucket on it. I chained the back side of the bucket to the loader and back dragged with it, the loader does have down pressure so it actually worked pretty good. 8) :D

It can get a bit chilly and soggy during our winter rains in Arizona as well. Hang in there!
