(pic) Choice...

Post by cshold »

If you ever had this heavenly & extremely rare opportunity to make
this choice which one would you chose :?:
Would it be the one on the left or the one on the right, and why :?:

Tough decision, but I think the one on the left. I first thought one on right because it is so perfect. But then again where would I see such an unusual one like on the left. Probably would find another like the pretty one, but not irregular one one the left.

So it would be the one non-traditional one on the left for me.

Hey, welcome back mate.

If I was after a trophy for the den I would go the right. For meat or to improve the herd genetics I'd take the left one.

The one on the right, without question.

drop tines improve the trophy, though the buck on the right is drop-dead gorgeous

Neither. Two bucks like that together are probably being raised in a pen somewhere and fed a special diet to grow a trophy rack.

The one on the right. I prefer the look of a classic, huge rack.

The one on the right is perfect, or nearly so. I find that perfection boring. You can get nearly perfect ones anytime.

I'd take the one with the goofy antlers, "he" is much more interesting to me.

I'll take the typical rack. It would be tough not to try for a double which I've done several times on does. Part of the possibilities when shooting lever-guns.

If they moved apart, I would take the non-typical. If they stayed like that and light was fading, I would take the typical.. Would not want to injure the typical while taking the non-typical. Either rack would remind me of the day I was blessed to see two outstanding trophies like that. my luck I would only have a doe tag

I'd take the one on the right. I love symmetry. The non-typical is great also, but isn't as appealing to me. The only way i'd take it is if I already had a comparable mount to the one on the right.

The right one. He's probably younger so his flesh would hopefully be more tender. The rack is irrelevant to me. I hunt to put meat in the freezer.

That being said, I've never had bucks like those in my sights.

I'd definitely take the one on the right. I've never cared much for non-typical racks.

Nontypical. You can't eat racks and it's better for the genetics.

One on the right. The one on the left is slightly covering the rear of the one on the right. Pass thru might just hit the other deer. Now if they were separated a bit, the one on the left. I don't usually hunt for a trophy, but I'm attracted to the unusual so...
