I`m back, took a few days off.

Been busy cutting wood, then the mill took a turn for the worse so been doctoring it :roll:

I saw this thread and figured that considering the time of the year that you might be deer hunting Pitchy :)

Not yet, i didn`t buy a archery licence and won`t be rifle hunting until the beginning of Nov.

Wood supply is important. Did you see any of that early snow a coupla days back, Pitch?

Well and kicking, thanks pards.
Yea had to get the mill in good shape for winter in case we need it.
Track was crooked by 1/2 in. lead was gone and a couple other issues.

Thought of you the other day Pitchy, went to a fall fair and they had a great mill set up there, syeam powered. :D

They have a steam mill they run a few times each summer at the High Desert Museum in Bend, OR. I haven't seen it in person, but it is on my list. Man, those pine shavings smell good!
