Big Maryland buck

Post by t.r. »

My friends and I went down to Maryland to hunt on November 10. Mike shot this big buck at approx 10AM while it was chasing a doe. His four blade Muzzy broadhead really did the job!

Very nice !

Is his crossbow a Horton inverted or one of the Scorpyd crossbows .

You know on a side note I used to think Maryland was a useless state but in the last 20 years I've found it to be my favourite place to hunt .

You see all the stuff about the Schwakcer , Grim Reaper etc broadheads . But if I ever get where I can hold a vertical bow again or break down and get a crossbow I'll be shooting a Muzzy broadhead

It's all I've ever used and I certainly see NO reason to change :!:

Nice - The X-bow looks like it's a Horton (Havoc, Fury, or Viper - IDK).

IMHO, there's no finer lunch than fresh trailside deer liver 'n onions - I keep a Coleman stove & cast iron frypan in my vehicle, just on the chance of such royal table (tailgate) fare.
